Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is the complex Fibrin Matrix that is full of Mesenchymal, leukocytes, platelets stem cells. The release of growth factors and interleukins continues for at least 10-12 days and speed-up the regeneration and healing processes. PRF is a 100% autologous rejuvenation treatment that is a step-up from PRP or Platelet-Rich Plasma treatments when growth factors are used only for a few minutes after the therapy. How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies from person to person, but on average, we recommend 3-4 treatment sessions separated by 4-6 weeks then 1-2 treatments per year for maintenance.
Will I need any downtime?
For injections, bruising and swelling is possible, plan 2 weeks ahead of any events/vacations.
For microneedling with PRP/PRF, recovery lasts from 1-2 days with reddened skin, small amount of peeling possible.
