How does Semaglutide and Tirzepatide work?
It slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach (called gastric emptying). The result of these actions causes you to feel full — lowering your appetite and causing you to lose weight. The goal is to have limited unfavorable side effects, while losing 1-2 lbs/week (and feel the benefits of the medication-less appetite, cravings, portion sizes).
What are the common side effects?

How Often Do I Come In?

Who is a good candidate for Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
The ideal patient would have a BMI of 30 or a BMI of 27 with co-morbidities.
Patients who are not a candidate for Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are patients who have a history of diabetes (Semaglutide and Tirzepatide could make your blood sugar too low), patients who have a history of medullary thyroid cancer, and patients who have a personal or family history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome – type 2.
If you have a history of Thyroid Cancer or nodules, we ask that you get written clearance from your physician prior to beginning the program.
