Wilson Weight Loss | Rx
When you’re on a weight loss diet, you have to enter a calorie-deficit state, i.e., the calories you consume should be less than the calories you burn. The best way to enter a calorie-deficit state is through increased physical activities and reduced food intake. But most people have trouble sticking to their weight loss diets because of hunger pangs. Semaglutide injections reduce food intake at the source – they kill or minimize the desire to eat more food.

The goal is to have limited unfavorable side effects, while losing 1-2 lbs/week (and feel the benefits of the medication-less appetite, cravings, portion sizes).
Most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, tiredness, dizziness, or constipation. Initial side effects usually lessens as you continue to use Semaglutide.
As you begin the program, you will come in once a week or once a month if you choose to do your injections at home. Your provider will adjust your dosages when you come in for your monthly follow up visit.
Most patients will begin to see weight loss after their initial dose has increased one to two times, typically within a month.
Not at all – there are no food restrictions with this diet! We do encourage patients to live an active lifestyle and maintain a balanced diet for optimal results.
